Your role
As an MES Application Manager, you take on a central role in the operation and further development of our manufacturing applications and data structures. You ensure that our Manufacturing Execution System runs stably, is continuously improved, and is optimally aligned with the requirements of production.
You move confidently between production, business, and IT and understand how to capture, question, and translate requirements into sustainable solutions. You are simultaneously a hub, translator, and enabler – with a clear view of connections, data flows, and processes in manufacturing.
Your tasks
Ensuring the stable and secure operation as well as maintenance of the MES including interfaces
Further development and optimisation of the MES application and data structures according to operational requirements
Recording, analysing, and documenting requirements from production and specialist departments
Coordinating collaboration between specialist departments, ICT, software suppliers, and external partners
Planning and accompanying changes, releases, tests, and approvals
Supporting key users and ensuring 2nd- and 3rd-level support
Documenting processes, solutions, and system landscapes
Identifying and implementing optimisation potentials in the production and digitalisation environment
The skills you bring
Education or degree in business informatics, wood/process engineering, or comparable
Experience in application management, preferably in production or MES environment
Understanding of production processes, IT systems, and data flows
Experience in analysing and optimising processes and requirements
Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented working style
Strong communication skills, team spirit, and a high quality awareness
