About the job
Medicine in a place hardly anyone knows from the inside: The JVA Grosshof in Kriens is looking for an institutional doctor for the somatic care of our admitted persons. Regulated in a service agreement, planned on a weekly basis.
Your tasks
- The admitted persons of JVA Grosshof are your patients - you ensure their basic medical care together with our health service.
- Once a week you conduct ward rounds on site, prepared and accompanied by an experienced health service.
- You assess the health complaints of the admitted persons and determine the necessary treatments.
- Where necessary, you prescribe medication or further examinations.
- Between ward rounds, you advise our health service on medical questions - by phone or email.
Your profile
- You have a specialist title in General Internal Medicine or a comparable qualification and bring experience from general practice or general medical care.
- Complex issues, both medical and psychosocial, do not unsettle you.
- You work independently, make responsible decisions and look for solutions rather than responsibilities.
- You are reliable in your collaboration: you communicate clearly, coordinate straightforwardly and remain committed in the long term.
- You have an interest in medicine in the penal system.
