To strengthen our team, we are looking for you: a committed, entrepreneurial-thinking and bike-enthusiastic personality as an experienced Product Manager Bike / E-Bike 100% at Thömus AG.

Your tasks – You make a difference:

• You actively participate in the development, implementation and coordination of part of our E-Bike and Bio-Bike platforms – from development through market launch to the various phases of the product lifecycle.
• You continuously analyse the market, trends and competition and derive opportunities and requirements for our product portfolio.
• You work closely with Engineering, R&D, Industrial Design and Purchasing to ensure that technical feasibility, cost targets, product requirements, component availability and brand alignment work optimally together.
• You define product specifications and bills of materials (BOM) for our various bike platforms together with the relevant departments.
• You create and monitor product calculations and keep an eye on costs, margins and profitability.
• Together with Purchasing, you contribute to the selection of strategic OEM partners and the drafting of the corresponding supplier agreements.
• You work closely with Marketing to ensure clear product positioning and to communicate the key product features, benefits and USPs convincingly.
• You coordinate cross-departmental product launches and ensure optimal alignment between development, purchasing, production, sales and marketing.
• You analyse qualitative and quantitative product performance and derive concrete optimisation proposals for existing and future product generations.
• You collect and coordinate feedback from market, sales, production and service and incorporate it structurally into product development and optimisation.
• You contribute to ensuring the quality of our sold and assembled products and coordinate necessary measures with our suppliers in case of quality issues – from replacement deliveries to refunds.
• If necessary, you coordinate recall actions together with Quality Control and the affected internal and external partners.

Your profile – what you bring:

• You have proven professional experience as a Product Manager in the bicycle industry and know the products, market players and industry-specific processes.
• You have a suitable technical or business education.
• You have sound knowledge in the areas of bikes, e-bikes, components and technologies and actively follow developments in the bicycle industry.
• You understand technical contexts and can combine them with economic requirements, costs and margin targets.
• You think entrepreneurially, analytically and solution-oriented, like to take responsibility and actively drive projects forward.
• You are used to working cross-departmentally and bringing together different requirements from development, purchasing, production, marketing and sales.
• You work in a structured, independent and careful manner and keep an overview even with several parallel development projects.
• You communicate confidently with internal and external partners and present yourself professionally even to international suppliers.
• You have very good German and English skills; additional languages are a plus.
• The bicycle is part of your everyday life: You are an active cyclist in one or more disciplines and bring a genuine passion for the bike world.
• You want to contribute your experience and passion to actively shape the next generations of our Thömus bikes and e-bikes.
