ICT Supporter
Office for Vocational Education | 70 % | Chur
The Office for Vocational Education (AFB) is a department of the Department of Education, Culture and Environmental Protection (EKUD) and implements the educational policy mandates of the federal government and canton in the field of vocational education and training. It is also a competence centre for questions regarding career, school and study choice as well as a supporting body throughout the entire professional career.
We are looking for an ICT Supporter to start immediately or by arrangement
Your area of responsibility
- First point of contact for all IT concerns as well as receiving, analysing and coordinating faults and support requests
- Advising, training and supporting over 50 employees in the use of IT resources, specialised applications and digital work processes
- Planning, coordinating and carrying out change and release management processes as well as organising and accompanying application and system tests
- Procurement, administration and lifecycle management of hardware and software (including orders, licence management, inventory management and setting up IT workstations)
- Performing overarching ICT tasks, especially in the areas of coordination, role and user management, data protection, retention and archiving obligations as well as implementation and monitoring of information security and protection measures
What we expect from you
- Solid education or further training in the IT field as well as practical experience in ICT support and operation of Microsoft systems
- Enjoy supporting users competently and solution-oriented
- Experience in participating in and implementing projects as well as the ability to actively shape and successfully drive change
- Analytical thinking, interconnected understanding of technical and organisational contexts as well as clear, understandable and appreciative communication
- Independent, structured and reliable working style with a high awareness of quality, as well as the ability to maintain overview, team spirit and commitment in demanding situations
- Very good German skills in spoken and written form. Knowledge of a second cantonal language or other languages is a plus and facilitates exchange in a diverse environment
