Your tasks

• Entrepreneurial overall responsibility: Leading and developing our Software & Mobility Solutions business division, where we develop and operate innovative digital solutions for companies, transport operators, and mobility providers, with around 20 specialists and responsibility for strategy, budget, resources, and results
• Shaping profitable growth: Further developing the existing software business with 40 customers, exploring new market potentials, and driving economically successful scaling
• Inspiring market and customers: Identifying business opportunities, acquiring new customers, and developing long-term partnerships through effective market engagement
• Leading and developing people: Shaping an interdisciplinary team into a high-performing unit, promoting collaboration and personal responsibility, and creating a positive, customer- and results-oriented culture
• Further developing the software portfolio: Setting clear strategic priorities, advancing our solution offerings according to market and customer needs, and promoting standardisation, competitiveness, and profitability
• Ensuring projects and operations: Managing the customer and project portfolio, setting sensible priorities, and ensuring safe, stable, and high-performance operation of our software solutions, together with the team and our technology partners
• Achieving results: Managing the business division based on clear economic goals and key figures, transparent reporting, and consistent implementation of improvements

Your profile

• Degree in business administration or comparable further education with solid entrepreneurial experience
• Several years of experience in building, leading, and profitably developing a market-oriented business, ideally in the software or technology environment
• Proven leadership experience and the ability to inspire, develop, and lead interdisciplinary teams through change
• Strong market and customer understanding, sales strength, and experience in successfully developing customer relationships and business opportunities
• Experience in budget and profit & loss responsibility (P&L) as well as a good understanding of the economic success factors of a software business
• Entrepreneurial mindset, strategic foresight, and a pronounced hands-on mentality
• Strong communication skills, decisiveness, and the ability to bring together different interests and competencies
• Strong connection to the Basel region and enthusiasm for innovative mobility solutions
