The position is attached to the Diagnostic Department . The department's objectives (comprising 9 medical services) are to provide patients with results to assist diagnosis, prognosis, therapeutic choices, prediction and/or disease prevention. These results must be of high medical quality, both reliable, delivered promptly and at an acceptable cost.
The main mission of the Radiology Service concerns diagnostic radiology examinations and therapeutic interventions guided by various imaging techniques. This clinical activity includes approximately 220,000 examinations and 5,000 diagnostic and therapeutic procedures per year, a significant part of which is provided on a 24/7 basis.
Job Description
Under the supervision of the medical hierarchy, you will carry out practical activities, clinical and therapeutic interventions entrusted to you and engage in postgraduate training in radiology according to the ISFM programme.
You will contribute to the training of trainee doctors.
You will progress in your training course according to the defined plan and/or FMH requirements for the specialisation title in radiology.
Qualifications
You hold a federal medical diploma or have training deemed equivalent. If your diploma comes from a foreign country, you have obtained recognition from the Medical Professions Commission of the Federal Office of Public Health (MEBEKO) and your diploma is registered in the Medical Professions Register (MedReg).
A full postgraduate year in internal medicine and/or surgery is a prerequisite.
Possessing excellent communication skills within a multidisciplinary team and with patients, you are a dynamic, flexible and committed person. Furthermore, you have demonstrated strong adaptability.
For non-French-speaking applicants, a C1 level in spoken and written French is required.

As part of the resident doctors' training rotation, the service recruits about 15 new resident doctors during the year.
