Legal Counsel (100%)
Area of responsibility
- Proactive legal and regulatory advice for employees of all levels and departments as well as for all business areas
- Drafting and further development of legal documents (customer, partner and supplier contracts, general terms and conditions, directives, marketing materials and communication)
- Monitoring legal and regulatory developments in Switzerland, the EU and other markets important to the bank, as well as supporting the implementation of resulting adjustments
- Close cooperation with other bank functions, namely client advisors, compliance, finance & risk
- Needs-based support of the core compliance team (anti-money laundering/sanctions)
- Participation in projects and internal training
Education/Experience
- Completed studies in law (lic. iur/MLaw)
- At least three years of professional experience in the legal service and/or compliance department of a (private) bank
- Very good German and English skills (additional languages such as French and Italian are an advantage)
Personal qualities
- Interest in and openness to new or special business areas or investment classes such as crypto/DLT/blockchain, private market and indirect real estate investments (L-QIF); existing experience in these fields is an advantage; possibly experience with digital assets, demonstrated interest in further development in this area
- Open, team-oriented and resilient personality with very good communication skills within the team as well as with colleagues, clients and authorities
- Independent, solution-oriented, precise and reliable way of working
