The Evangelical Reformed Cantonal Church of Schwyz is looking for a person for the presidency as well as members for the Appeals CommissionThe Appeals Commission of the Cantonal Church of Schwyz assesses complaints in accordance with church and cantonal law.
Our Appeals Commission is to be supplemented at the end of the legislative period. The synodal nomination committee is therefore seeking, on behalf of the Synod, a successor for the presidency of the Appeals Commission for the next legislative period (2026 – 2029). A person with legal experience is sought.
We are also looking for one member and two substitute members for the Appeals Commission.
The Appeals Commission consists of a president, two members, and two substitute members. It elects the vice-presidency and a commission secretary from among its members.
Our expectations:
You are a member of the Reformed Church and reside in the canton of Schwyz. You are legally proficient, a team player, empathetic, and willing to commit yourself to the Cantonal Church and its parishes.
The election will take place at the autumn synod on 8 November 2025.
The legislative period starts on 1 January 2026.
