Severe Care Nursing Department, workload 80 – 100 %

The Severe Care Nursing Department stands for highly specialised, professional and at the same time compassionate nursing. We provide respectful and highly professional care and support to people of all ages who require severe and intensive nursing care. The focus is on complex care situations such as severe traumatic brain injuries, persistent vegetative state, ventilation, and other neurological conditions. Gain insights into the daily routine of the department.

Currently, the Severe Care Department has 10 nursing places. With the move to the new building, the area will be expanded to a total of 25 places from autumn 2026.

The Regional Nursing Centre Baden is one of the largest providers of long-term care in Switzerland. We offer our residents of all ages specialised professional care and support in various areas of expertise. Our headquarters in Baden (AG) will be comprehensively modernised in the coming years through new construction and renovations, complemented by 86 new retirement apartments.

For the RPB location in Wettingen (from autumn 2026 in Baden), we are looking for a competent, reliable and committed individual to start immediately or by arrangement.

With this role you will support us by:

• Accompanying and supporting our apprentices and HF students in their professional daily routine and ensuring the high quality of practical training
• Working closely with our vocational training manager for nursing as well as with other professional roles
• Ensuring the care and support of our residents within the framework of primary nursing, including professional and evidence-based care
• Performing medical-technical measures in addition to nursing activities
• Taking on daily responsibility
• Carefully maintaining nursing documentation

You will convince us with:

• A completed education as a qualified nursing specialist HF / FH or an equivalent recognised qualification
• Experience in acute or long-term care as well as experience in ventilation management or willingness to acquire this knowledge
• Experience in vocational training and possession of the SVEB 1 qualification or willingness to complete it
• Familiarity with RAI-NH and confident practical application
• An empathetic, innovative, flexible and cheerful personality with a solution-oriented way of thinking and acting
