This is the job - Your main tasks

• Advisory support for our clients in the manufacturing industry and consumer goods sector on strategic and operational issues
• Responsibility for leading and managing demanding transformation projects in the field of Digital Manufacturing, Industry 4.0 and smart operations – from strategic orientation to sustainable implementation
• Development and implementation of IT strategies, operating models and transformations of IT departments
• Design and management of effective solutions in areas such as Smart Factory, MES/MOM, IoT, Industrial Data Platforms, AI-based use cases as well as IT/OT-related transformation initiatives
• Development of strategic target images and architecture roadmaps along the entire manufacturing value chain
• Identification and utilisation of new business potentials through innovative technologies and data-driven solutions

This job is for you if

• you have several years of experience in management consulting or a comparable role with high result responsibility in an industrial environment.
• you have project experience in one or more of the following areas: Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Smart Factory, Robotics, Physical AI, Shopfloor Solution Architecture, Digital SCM, Project Management, Data Platforms, ERP, IT/OT integration, IIoT or Production Optimisation.
• you bring solid expertise in the digitalisation of manufacturing and operations functions and can confidently assess their added value for business, technology and organisation.
• you have experience in relevant areas such as Smart Factory, MES/MOM, IoT, ERP, IT/OT integration, Industrial Data Platforms or AI in an industrial context.
• you have experience in building or integrating PLM, CAD or MES solutions in a shopfloor-related environment.
• you handle senior stakeholders with confidence, communicate reliably at management level and navigate confidently even in demanding client situations.
• you have fluent German and English skills and very good communication skills to round off your profile.
