Job Description

Within the IT team, you will be responsible for designing, developing and operating backend services and APIs, mainly in a Java environment.

• Design and develop backend services with Java, Spring and Spring Boot.
• Develop and maintain REST and SOAP APIs, as well as their documentation via OpenAPI / Swagger.
• Occasionally develop administration interfaces with Vue.js or Angular.
• Integrate Oracle and MS SQL Server databases with JPA/Hibernate, SQL/PL-SQL and Liquibase.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Maven and Git, including automated tests and quality controls.
• Apply good application security practices and manage authentication and authorisation mechanisms.
• Participate in the automated testing strategy: unit, integration and BDD/ATDD.
• Provide production support, incident and performance analysis, as well as reliability improvement.
• Document APIs, architecture and operational procedures, notably in JIRA.
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to ensure alignment of architecture with business needs and platform standards.

Qualifications

Profile sought:

• 7 to 15 years of software development experience
• Strong mastery of Java, Spring, Spring Boot and REST/SOAP API design.
• Good knowledge of Oracle, MS SQL Server, JPA/Hibernate, SQL and Liquibase.
• Experience in CI/CD and DevOps: Git, Maven, YAML pipelines and test automation.
• Mastery of application security practices: OAuth2/OIDC, Kerberos, OWASP and Secure Coding.
• Experience in automated testing: JUnit, Mockito, Cucumber.
• Knowledge of Vue.js or Angular.
• Good skills in software architecture, documentation and production incident resolution.
• Fluent English, French appreciated.
• Autonomous, structured, reliable and collaborative profile.

Assets

• BPMN / Drools, Node.js, E2E testing, JMeter.
• Experience in regulated banking or financial environment.
