Your main tasks:
- Design and construction of individual parts, assemblies up to complete power tools in 3D CAD (SolidWorks)
- Creation of drawings according to ISO GPS standard specifications (manufacturing documents)
- Design and calculation of components
- Further development of concepts into series-ready products – from design through model creation to the preparation of manufacturing documents and documentation
- Technical documentation and maintenance of bills of materials in SAP
- Communication and technical coordination with suppliers
- Close collaboration with testing, assembly, purchasing and project management
What we are looking for:
- Development engineer with a degree in mechanical engineering or a comparable course of study
- Several years of experience (5+) in the conception, development and design of mechanical or electromechanical components or assemblies ready for series production
- Confident handling and knowledge of 3D CAD software (SolidWorks preferred)
- Advanced knowledge in the selection of suitable materials
- Innovative ability and hands-on mentality, especially in the context of power tools
- Advanced experience in the design and layout of pressure and injection moulded parts
- Structured and independent working style
- Teamwork skills and strong communication
- Creativity and team spirit
- Good German and English skills, both spoken and written
- Confident use of MS Office products
- Assertiveness and very good communication skills complete your profile
