City Green Winterthur plans, maintains and manages the green and open spaces, the forest, the Bruderhaus wildlife park, the five cemeteries as well as the crematorium of the garden city Winterthur. Our services are central to the quality of the garden city Winterthur as a residential and business location.

Your Tasks

Leading small groups with the aim of differentiated and sustainable care focusing on perennials, as well as green and open spaces.

Maintaining and creating new and established perennial areas

Collaborating on other maintenance and creation work in historic gardens, schools and roadside greenery

Competent and safe operation of general maintenance machinery

Assisting in the development and implementation of district-specific projects

Your Profile

Completed apprenticeship as a gardener with a federal certificate of competence specialising in perennials or garden and landscape construction with experience in garden maintenance, prior knowledge of nature-friendly garden care desired

Several years of experience in perennial care / green space maintenance

Teamwork skills, high independence and role model behaviour

High safety and risk awareness and ability to solve challenges systematically

Driving licence category BE
