Do you want to actively shape a broad range and have a real entrepreneurial impact? In this role, you are responsible for a diverse portfolio with over 8,000 items and develop it further based on the market, customer needs, and economic key figures. You work closely with manufacturers, suppliers, purchasing, marketing, and sales. Additionally, you help shape the private label strategy in the ICT Volume sector together with our private label team.Product Manager:in Cables, Batteries & Computing Accessories
What to expect
- Entrepreneurial responsibility for your assortments including sales, margin, contribution margin, budget, and pricing strategy across our B2B and B2C channels
- Strategic development of a broad portfolio with over 8,000 items as well as identification of new market and assortment potentials
- Co-responsibility for the private label strategy in the ICT Volume sector in close collaboration with our private label team
- Evaluation of new manufacturers, suppliers, and competitive sources
- Independent management and negotiation with manufacturer and supplier partners as well as implementation of the procurement strategy together with purchasing
- Development and implementation of assortment, pricing, and procurement strategies
- Conceptualisation of marketing measures together with category marketing and sales
- Analysis of relevant key figures, preparation of reports, and derivation of concrete optimisation measures
- Responsibility for manufacturer billing as well as compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in your assortment areas
- Participation and responsibility in strategic projects such as dropshipping, data connections, or purchasing tools
What you bring
- Completed basic training with a Federal VET Diploma or an equivalent qualification, ideally related to trade or e-commerce
- Further education in marketing, product management, purchasing, or business administration
- At least 3–5 years of professional experience in product management or category management, preferably in the e-commerce and/or distribution environment
- Very good analytical skills and enjoyment in working with key figures and deriving concrete recommendations for action
- Very good Excel skills as well as confident handling of MS Office
- Experience in collaboration and negotiation with manufacturers and suppliers
- Practical experience with ERP systems and master data as well as understanding of data-driven assortment management
- Knowledge of cross-channel pricing and marketing
- Very good German and good English skills
- Entrepreneurial thinking, initiative, as well as a structured and independent working style
