About the job
The Lenzburg Vocational School is a modern vocational school with around 2300 students in basic education, affiliated workshop courses, and a large department for adult education.The professional group of draftsmen/draftswomen specializing in interior architecture is the nationwide competence center for the German-speaking cantons and regions.
You will teach and support students on their path from the 2nd year of training to the qualification procedure. The overarching goal is the gradual assumption of the main teaching position and subject group leadership from August 2027.
We expect
- a basic education in a drafting profession (Draftsman/Draftswoman specializing in Interior Architecture EFZ or Draftsman/Draftswoman specializing in Architecture EFZ)
- a higher technical college degree (Dipl. Technician in Construction Planning, focus on Interior Architecture) or a university degree in Interior Architecture or Architecture
- several years of practical experience in an interior architecture office
- a methodical-didactic qualification in vocational education or the willingness to complete the required training up to qualification as a main teacher
- confident use of digital media as well as industry-specific software in teaching
- communication skills, assertiveness, initiative, enjoyment in working with young people, and willingness to work in a team
