About the job
Career Advisor (80% - 100%)
Your role is demanding and varied.
You advise young people as well as adults with a health impairment in career choice and in the implementation of integration measures, initial vocational training and retraining. You assess the performance profile, clarify the integration potential and plan integration measures. In doing so, you take into account the resources and possibilities of your clients as well as occupational health, labour market relevant and legal requirements. You conduct the advisory process independently and work closely with schools, employers, institutions and other partners. Various administrative tasks such as writing reports are also part of your duties.
You convince us both professionally and personally.
For this demanding position you bring a lot with you: You have completed training (university or university of applied sciences) in psychology, social work or education. In addition, you impress us with completed or ongoing further training in career and vocational guidance (MASP-CC&HRM or MAS BSLB) – or with the willingness to start such training. Professional experience as a career advisor will facilitate your entry.
Your work requires a high degree of social competence in dealing with people with health limitations. Furthermore, solution-oriented counselling and organisational skills as well as resilience and an independent working style are among your strengths. At the same time, you are a team player with high empathetic abilities. A dynamic working environment with plenty of scope for design is just to your taste, and you see constructive feedback as an opportunity for further development.
We not only demand, we also offer a lot.
