The Restaurant Volkshaus Zürich stands for traditional, authentic cuisine and focuses on products mainly from organic production. In our spacious bar and restaurant areas with a total of 260 seats, the charm of the 1920s meets modern elements – a place where urban hospitality is lived. Numerous events create a lively, dynamic environment with us.

Our fully equipped banquet and event rooms offer space for around 2,000 people. With over 2,500 events per year – from international music stars to theater and classical concerts, as well as banquets, parties, and seminars – Volkshaus is one of the most important event venues in the city of Zurich.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Buffet Attendant / Buffetier (m/f, 80–100%) to start immediately or by arrangement.

Your tasks

• Serving drinks to the service staff during service hours
• Setting up the daily mise en place at the drink buffet and ensuring a neat, well-organized buffet
• Cleaning and maintaining the work area
• Compliance with all hygiene regulations and quality standards

Your profile

• Experience in buffet service or gastronomy is required
• Friendly, well-groomed appearance and strong communication skills
• Flexibility and willingness to work shifts (including weekends and holidays)
• Team player with a high sense of quality and responsibility
• Resilient and well organized
• Very good knowledge of German
• Reliable adherence to hygiene and safety regulations
