What you will achieve

• Overall responsibility for production regarding safety, quality, costs, delivery readiness and productivity
• Leadership, coaching and further development of directly subordinate managers and employees
• Responsibility for budget, key figures and target achievement of the production area
• Promotion of a lean and shopfloor management culture as well as continuous improvement processes
• Participation in and management of investment, optimisation and innovation projects
• Ensuring and further development of quality, hygiene and safety standards
• Close cooperation with relevant functions at Elsa Group such as safety, planning, maintenance etc.
• Active shaping of the strategic development of the Oey site

What you bring

• Education: Advanced technical college
• Specialisation: in cheese dairy and/or dairy technology or food technology
• Professional experience: Several years of leadership experience in a production environment of the food industry
• Strong social and leadership skills
• Team player with the ability to inspire, motivate and successfully lead employees through change
• Experience in lean management as well as in the optimisation of processes and organisations
• Entrepreneurial and strategic thinking
• Strong communication skills and assertiveness
• German (B2)
• French (A2)
