About the job
- Together with our interdisciplinary team, you will treat patients with subacute psychological and social problems in a day clinic setting.
- After thorough training, you will lead group therapies and accompany patients through the structured therapy process.
- As an occupational therapist, you will design the daily programme, analyse group dynamics, and document the treatment progress in the hospital information system.
- In your varied daily work, you will encounter the full spectrum of psychiatric disorders and work closely with the treatment team from the fields of medicine, psychology, nursing, and therapy.
- At our location, you will actively participate in handovers, case discussions, and further training, and maintain constant communication with other practitioners.
- Together with our team, you will also engage in public relations and professionally represent Psychiatry St.Gallen externally.
- You have completed training as an occupational therapist HF/FH and ideally have already gained professional experience in psychiatry.
- It is advantageous if you hold a professional practice permit from the canton of St.Gallen (permit to work under supervision) or meet the necessary requirements to obtain it before starting the position.
- Your interest lies in day clinic, interdisciplinary treatment oriented to the needs of patients and their environment.
- Planning and leading group therapies is one of your strengths, and you value the exchange with patients.
- You enjoy expanding your knowledge, following new developments in occupational therapy, and applying them in practice.
- You work independently, are open-minded, and like to contribute to collaboration in a committed team.
