- Monitoring the sales floor: You use the latest CCTV technologies to always keep an overview. You discreetly observe movements and activities in the sales areas and detect suspicious behaviour at an early stage. Your sharp eye and attention contribute decisively to preventing shoplifting.
- Clarification of suspicion and detention: As soon as you discover theft or suspicious activity, you immediately take the initiative. You proceed calmly and confidently, check the identity of the suspicious person, and carry out detentions if necessary. You always act professionally and prudently. Your confident appearance in uniform and your calm manner help you to control the situation confidently in critical moments.
- Interviews and clarification: After a detention, you conduct the initial interviews with the persons involved. Your task is to record all necessary information precisely and prepare the case for possible further steps.
- Report preparation: Every incident requires detailed and precise reporting. You write written reports about suspicious activities and incidents, which serve as a basis for legal action or internal analyses.
- Support for sales staff: You advise the on-site staff, especially on security and prevention issues. Together with the team, you work to close security gaps and make the sales area even safer.
- Cooperation with external security services: In some cases, you work closely with external security services or the police. You act as the central contact person on site and coordinate further action on security-related matters.
What you bring:
- Self-responsibility and assertiveness – you act calmly and decisively, even in demanding situations
- Completed vocational training or an equivalent qualification
- Swiss citizen or permit C or EU/EFTA B
- Fluent German skills in spoken and written form
- Impeccable reputation (no criminal or debt register entries)
- Mobility (driver’s licence and own vehicle available)
- Physically fit and mentally resilient – you remain focused even in stressful situations
- Honest, discreet and responsible
- Adaptable, flexible and punctual
- Team player as well as independent
- Proficient PC user skills
