Your tasks

• Worldwide procurement of printed and unprinted primary and secondary packaging considering deadlines, quantity, quality, and costs for pharmaceutical manufacturing
• Management and implementation of projects to optimise the entire supply chain
• Selection and qualification of new suppliers as well as building and maintaining supplier relationships
• Conducting price, terms, and contract negotiations
• Creating meaningful market and price analyses as well as efficient supplier and risk management
• Intensive collaboration and information exchange with internal and external partners
• Responsibility for the assigned material groups
• Compliance with GMP guidelines

Our requirements

• Commercial basic training with further education in purchasing or business administration (FH/HF) or training as a packaging technologist with corresponding experience in purchasing
• Several years of professional experience in purchasing
• Experience in purchasing packaging, packing materials, or printed products is an advantage
• Sound knowledge of national and international procurement markets, preferably in the GMP environment
• High cost and quality awareness
• Very independent with a strong understanding of processes
• Excellent communication skills and good negotiation skills
• Proficient in MS Office and good knowledge in the use of ERP systems (knowledge of SAP is an advantage)
• Fluent in German and English
