The SZU continuously develops its rail production – safe, reliable and customer-oriented. A key success factor is the ability to systematically learn from events, disruptions and experiences and to derive sustainable improvements from them.

Are you a committed individual who wants to further develop our rail production with analytical thinking, a structured approach and a strong understanding of operational contexts? Are you keen to analyse operational events and data, identify patterns and areas for action, and enable concrete improvements in processes, regulations, training and collaboration? Your tasks

• You systematically and data-based analyse and process events, disruptions and feedback from rail production.
• You collect and structure operational information and prepare results appropriately for the target audience.
• You identify patterns, causes and areas for action and derive concrete improvement potentials from them.
• You contribute to the development of a learning organisation by bringing insights into workshops, formats and training sessions.
• You participate in the further development of processes, work equipment, regulations as well as initial and continuing training.

Your skills

• You have experience in rail production, e.g. in train operation, traffic control, train dispatching or operational planning.
• You have knowledge in handling operational data, events or disruption analyses.
• You bring experience in the systematic analysis and preparation of information.
• You understand processes in rail production (railway companies and/or infrastructure managers).
• You have experience or interest in continuous improvement, quality management or safety processes.
