To strengthen our infrastructure team, we are looking for a responsible individual as a Specialist in Infrastructure Safety for the Aarau location from 1 November 2026 or by arrangement.
Your tasks
- You plan, organise and conduct training sessions and examinations according to R RTE 20100 and R RTE 20180 for internal and external personnel
- You develop examination and training materials and ensure compliance with current regulations and standards
- You create and review safety arrangements (SIDI) and assume the role of safety manager if required
- You carry out site inspections and audits, enforce safety requirements and initiate improvement measures
- You manage the training database and ensure timely certification and refresher training
- You support projects and construction sites in all safety-related matters in the track area
- You assess third-party construction applications and accompany their implementation from a safety perspective
- You represent AVA in specialist committees and contribute to the development of industry standards
Your profile
- Completed training in construction or railway sector
- Extensive experience in managing construction sites in railway construction
- Professional certificate in adult education (SVEB certificate)
- Valid examination expert qualification (PEX) (advantageous) or willingness to obtain it (mandatory)
- Experience in conducting training and instruction with adults
- Thorough knowledge of R RTE 20100 and ideally other railway-specific regulations
- Good German language skills and proficient MS Office user skills
- Confident demeanour, assertive and a strong quality and responsibility awareness
- Proactive, structured working style and networked thinking and acting
- Driving licence category B and willingness to occasionally work nights and weekends
