What to expect
- Responsible for the correct handling of commission and decision processes, including checking, assessing, deciding and documenting commission corrections in close cooperation with sales channels as well as contact person for the external organisation and internal departments regarding questions about compensation
- Processing and tracking commission recoveries, final accounts, legal proposals and open items as well as developing guidelines to prevent commission recoveries; this in close coordination with Legal, Finance and other interfaces
- Designing, maintaining, further developing and testing compensation models as well as professional and technical processes to optimise the compensation system taking into account regulatory requirements and industry standards
- Participation in projects to further develop compensation procedures as well as defining, documenting and tracking changes, decisions and procedural anomalies and supporting risk management through line controls and their documentation
What you bring
- Commercial training with several years of proven experience in process management and project control, ideally in the insurance or financial services industry
- Sound knowledge of project and process management methods as well as a strong understanding of governance, compliance and regulatory requirements
- Ability to independently identify, assess and efficiently solve problems, combined with a high awareness of quality, reliability and diligence
- Experience in working with different stakeholders as well as the ability to coordinate interests, make decisions and effectively accompany changes
- Very good MS Office and advanced Excel skills, experience in reporting and data analysis, Syrius and SAP knowledge advantageous, and fluent German; French and/or Italian are a plus
