About the job

We, the Kantonsschule Kreuzlingen, with our approximately 350 students and around 40 teachers, are one of the smallest high schools in Switzerland and at the same time part of the Kreuzlingen Education Campus, which also includes the Pedagogical Maturity School (PMS) and the Thurgau University of Teacher Education (PHTG). Our school is only a few minutes' walk from Lake Constance and is embedded in an urban environment with excellent transport connections.

As a specialist in facility maintenance in the area of building services, you ensure that the infrastructure is used optimally and that a regulated school operation can be guaranteed at all times. And if a disruption should occur, you can quickly and professionally resolve the problem.

Your tasks

You ensure smooth operation in your school
You are responsible for building cleaning and maintenance
You check and ensure that all building technical systems are running properly (such as solar, sanitary, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems)
You carry out various maintenance tasks yourself, such as electrical work, painting, repairs, proper disposal
You take care of outdoor work (such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, raking leaves, winter service, etc.)

Your profile

You have completed secondary school type E or have a good type G diploma. Your working method is precise and reliable. You enjoy practical work both indoors and outdoors. You have manual skills and a good technical understanding. You are communicative, sociable, and have a broad general education. Occupational safety and health protection are also very important to you.
