The Family Centre Küsnacht is a place of encounter, exchange and support. Here, families with preschool children find space for contact, community and valuable impulses for everyday family life. With a low-threshold, open and participatory offer, we accompany parents in an important phase of life, promote social networking and strengthen families in their parenting and everyday tasks.
For the professional and operational management as well as the further development of our Family Centre, we are looking for a committed, proactive and warm personality from 1 November 2026 or by arrangement as
Early Childhood Specialist / Family Centre Manager 50% (spread over 4 half-days)
Your tasks
- Professional, operational and financial management of the Family Centre
- Further development and needs-based design of offers for families with preschool children
- Planning, organisation and support of low-threshold offers, courses and events Promotion of encounters, participation, integration and social networking
- Collaboration and networking with specialist offices, associations and other local partner organisations
- Initial consultation of visitors and referral to suitable offers and support through specialist offices
- Host and contact person for visitors during opening hours (Tuesday and Thursday afternoons as well as Wednesday and Friday mornings)
Your profile
- Higher education in the social or educational field
- Professional experience working with families, preschool children or in early intervention Knowledge in project and concept work
- Experience in networking and community work as well as enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
- High social competence, strong communication skills and a respectful approach to different life realities
- Availability during the Family Centre's opening hours
