The Model Group develops, produces and supplies high-quality packaging made of solid and corrugated cardboard, from simple transport packaging to highly refined praline and perfume boxes. The group is represented with subsidiaries in seven countries. The company headquarters is located in Weinfelden, Switzerland.

These are your tasks

• Technical and disciplinary leadership of the Business Application Team (12 employees) with a focus on SAP
• Definition of the application portfolio for the company in the role of Solution Architect DACH
• Evaluation of new applications together with the Business Process Organisation
• Consultant for a wide range of technologies, platforms and vendor offerings
• Interface with Application Owners (Business) with outsourcing partners, including SAP Basis
• Taking over partial project management
• Planning and coordinating necessary system adjustments or extensions (developments) at a technical level
• Ensuring coordination and collaboration within the DACH application team as well as with those responsible in the business
• If necessary: taking over on-call duties

This is what distinguishes you

• Successfully completed studies in a STEM subject or vocational training (HF) with corresponding professional experience and further training
• Several years of experience in SAP ERP as well as in-depth knowledge in 1-2 modules
• Several years of experience in defining and building an application landscape (Solution Architect)
• Several years of leadership experience with teams at different locations
• Interest and openness to new technologies, as well as their concrete application in everyday business
• Very good communication skills, strong team spirit and enjoyment of cross-departmental collaboration
• Willingness to travel approx. 20%
• Very good German and English skills
