The Appenzell Ausserrhoden Hospital Network, with the Herisau Acute Hospital and the AR Psychiatric Centre in Herisau, ensures extended basic medical care for the population in the canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden and is also the first point of contact for a large part of the population in the surrounding region. Both locations are relevant for care within the canton and beyond.
We are looking for
In the Clinic for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy under the nursing management of Mr Sven Lang, Ms Nathalie Scola and Ms Semira Kleger are seeking immediately or by arrangement a Certified Nursing Specialist HF/FH for a workload of 50-70% for the acute ward.
Attractive tasks
- Professional care of patients as a key contact person in the nursing process from admission to discharge in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
- Conducting and organising group activities as well as planning and conducting regular individual conversations
- Co-designing the ward environment and ward procedures
- Adhering to nursing standards and working with nursing diagnoses
- Creating the necessary documentation in ORBIS NICE and forwarding relevant information
- Recording services according to specifications
- Close and transparent collaboration with all professionals involved in treatment, including external contacts
- Carrying out diagnostic and therapeutic measures according to medical orders
Therefore, we want you
- Completed training as a Certified Nurse, or you are a health and nursing professional
- Good German language skills in spoken and written form
- Experience in acute psychiatry is an advantage
- You are a resilient and flexible personality
- An independent and responsible way of working completes your profile
