PH Zurich actively shapes education, school, and teaching of today and tomorrow in teaching and research. The Lower Secondary Department is responsible for the training of teachers at the lower secondary level. It currently offers four master's degree programmes as well as subject extensions that impart professional competencies for teaching at the lower secondary level.
This is what you will do.
- Design, plan, conduct and evaluate courses for prospective secondary school teachers
- Collaborate in the creation, implementation and assessment of diploma examinations
- Conduct practical teaching coaching as well as accompany and advise students
This is what you bring with you.
- University degree at master’s level in mathematics didactics or mathematics
- Teaching diploma, preferably for lower secondary level
- Teaching experience, preferably at lower secondary level
- Higher education didactic qualification or equivalent further training
- Profound knowledge of the Swiss education and school system
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Enjoyment of teamwork and a strong commitment to teaching and education
