Head of Residential Area Gerontopsychiatry

80 - 100% workload

Your tasks

• Ensuring individual care and support for 28 elderly residents with psychological and cognitive impairments
• Management and deployment planning of the residential area with 20 employees
• Responsible for organising and conducting medical rounds and implementing prescriptions
• Leading handovers, team meetings and family discussions
• Maintaining comprehensive care and support documentation
• Supporting smooth shift operations and interdisciplinary collaboration (other residential areas, medical service, therapies, activation, housekeeping, kitchen, etc.)
• Willingness to further develop care and support according to modern, interdisciplinary principles
• Co-responsibility for implementing and further developing our quality management system according to ISO 9001, or TQM and RAI

Your profile

• Completed training as a certified nurse HF/FH or an equivalent qualification recognised by the SRK
• At least 2 years of professional experience in gerontopsychiatry
• Leadership experience with a participative leadership style
• Completed leadership training at the ward management level
• Knowledge of RAI-RUG and EasyDok is an advantage
• High respect for elderly, mentally ill and demented people
• Strong quality and cost awareness
