About the Position

Hitachi Energy is looking for employees (m/f/d) to operate equipment in production. You will support the areas of production, quality, and maintenance in the manufacture of power semiconductors.

In this role, you are responsible for operating machines and equipment, monitoring and optimising production processes, performing quality controls, and supporting maintenance and repair measures. Furthermore, you ensure compliance with quality standards, efficiency requirements, and occupational safety regulations, contributing to a smooth production process.

What You Can Achieve

• Operating and monitoring various machines and equipment according to applicable work instructions and ensuring a smooth production process

• Conducting regular checks, inspections, and adjustments to ensure optimal equipment performance and product quality

• Loading and unloading materials and products as well as managing inventories and documenting relevant production data

• Independently identifying and resolving minor malfunctions on machines and equipment and forwarding major technical issues to the responsible departments

• Adhering to safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies, as well as ensuring cleanliness and order in the work area

• Close collaboration with the team to achieve production goals, continuous process improvement, and careful preparation of the required production documentation

What You Bring

• Completed schooling or a comparable qualification

• Professional experience in a production or manufacturing environment is advantageous, ideally in the semiconductor industry

• Ability to precisely implement written and oral work instructions and understand technical contexts

• High quality orientation, careful and reliable working style, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work successfully both independently and in a team

• Physical resilience and willingness to work shifts, including night and weekend shifts, combined with a strong safety awareness and consistent compliance with all occupational safety regulations
