Planeco is one of the leading companies for solar energy and photovoltaics in Switzerland. Around 100 employees from engineering and craftsmanship realise demanding projects from the initial idea to implementation, in commercial, residential construction and alpine flagship projects.

A special focus is on building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV). Solar modules are directly integrated into roofs and facades, replacing traditional building materials. Architecture, technology and energy generation merge into one solution. For you as a facade professional, this means: your craft meets the technology that will shape construction in the coming decades.

You take responsibility for visible and technically demanding solar facades and in-roof projects, from the concept phase to acceptance. You actively shape how building-integrated photovoltaics are implemented in Switzerland. You are not alone in this: you will become part of a well-coordinated team of project managers with different focuses, from in-roof to facade to small and large projects. Everyone helps each other, exchanges expertise and benefits from each other’s strengths.

Your tasks:

You lead solar facade and in-roof projects from planning to successful implementation
You develop project-specific facade solutions at the interface of architecture, technology and energy
You advise clients and architectural offices on building-integrated photovoltaics
You organise external partners, installation and site logistics
You ensure deadlines, costs and quality
You coordinate collaboration with site management, architects and other project participants

What distinguishes you:

Technical basic training in the facade sector: completed apprenticeship as a metal construction technician EFZ or metalworker EFZ with further training, for example facade construction engineer, master metalworker or technician HF SMT. Alternatively, training in timber construction with relevant experience in facade or building envelope area
Experience in project management in metal construction, facade construction or the PV industry
Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
Assertiveness, organisational talent and enjoyment of complex projects
Very good German skills, additional languages are an advantage
Confident handling of AutoCAD and modern communication tools
