Your Tasks
- Increasingly independent conduct of structured anamneses and clinical examinations in everyday intensive care medicine
- Active involvement in diagnostics and therapy of critically ill patients including interpretation of laboratory, blood gas analysis, ECG and haemodynamic monitoring
- Taking on delegable measures and gradually expanding the range of activities within the framework of individual competence development
- Participation in invasive measures such as central venous and arterial access after structured training and under supervision
- Use of sonography in clinical practice with growing personal responsibility according to experience and qualification, e.g. echocardiography
- Integral part of the emergency and resuscitation team
- Monitoring ongoing therapies and contributing to adjustments within the framework of medical directives
- Documentation as well as preparation of discharge and transfer letters
- Central interface function between doctors, nursing staff and other professional groups
Your Profile
- Completed degree as Physician Assistant (B. Sc.)
- Ideally first experience in intensive care medicine, emergency department or a comparable acute area
- Confident clinical reasoning and interest in taking responsibility in the treatment process
- Motivation to deliberately expand your own skills and learn new procedures
- Structured, independent working style even in dynamic situations
- Team orientation and clear communication on an equal footing
- Enjoyment of patient-centred medicine and a varied, demanding working environment
