The role As an Account Director – Retail, Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG), and Luxury, you are passionate about experience innovation and motivated to push the boundaries of what’s possible. You have over 7 years of experience, a growth mindset, and a strong desire to leave a lasting impact. This strategic role within our global consulting practice focuses on account growth, managing high-level client relationships, and leading multidisciplinary teams toward common goals. You will actively contribute to the organization’s leadership by providing a clear vision for digital services strategy and execution — while inspiring trust, action, and change. This position primarily supports clients in retail, consumer packaged goods (CPG), and luxury sectors, assisting them in their digital transformation initiatives impacting experience, marketing, cloud, and commerce. You will thrive in this role if you are: * A curious thinker who challenges the status quo * A collaborator who values teamwork and knowledge sharing * Inspired by the intersection of technology, creativity, and data * Experienced in Agile methodologies and consulting (a plus) Responsibilities Growth * Achieve account growth targets (revenue, margins, client satisfaction) * Develop and execute account strategies to ensure annual growth * Coach teams to identify opportunities, write proposals, and close new mandates * Leverage partnerships and internal expertise to position Valtech as a strategic advisor * Develop account growth plans and identify new sources of value in digital, technology, and consulting services * Drive high-quality proposals and inspire teams to deliver winning presentations Client satisfaction & delivery * Act as a senior escalation point to resolve delivery or client satisfaction issues * Support teams in achieving positive outcomes while ensuring client and employee satisfaction * Facilitate executive meetings, strategic workshops, and long-term vision sessions * Manage the account in terms of P&L (revenue, margins, forecasts, investments) * Negotiate long-term agreements in collaboration with legal, delivery, and procurement teams * Ensure resource planning, billing, and pricing management aligned with client expectations Leadership * Act as a caring leader — fostering team development, motivation, and progression * Align team activities with individual career goals and organizational development paths * Provide mentoring and support succession planning for consultants and account managers Minimum requirements To be considered, you must demonstrate the following qualifications: * 7+ years of IT consulting experience with direct responsibility for accounts and revenue * 7+ years managing a portfolio or team in a client context * 5+ years of digital transformation experience across various sectors * Knowledge of modern enterprise technologies, CRM, cloud, and marketing platforms * High emotional intelligence and strategic thinking, with a good understanding of industry trends Additional assets * Ability to influence and coach other professionals in strategic account leadership * Strong cross-functional leadership and client relationship development skills * Proven success in developing business cases related to design and technology investments * Familiarity with digital platforms and ecosystems such as: digital experience, marketing/communication, commerce, data/AI, cloud, and technology partners (Salesforce, Adobe, etc.) A commitment to all people We design experiences for everyone — and it starts with our own teams.
