The Kantonsschule Stadelhofen is a cantonal short-term high school with classical and modern languages, mathematical-scientific, and musical profiles. Located centrally in five buildings, around 130 teachers teach 670 students, and 20 staff members ensure the administrative and technical school operations.

For the maintenance and supervision of our main building, we are looking for a caretaker (70%) to start immediately or by arrangement. You will be a member of the 12-person team in the building services. Your workplace will be the main building (four floors without an elevator).

Your tasks

• Supervision of assigned facilities/infrastructure including inspection rounds and locking service
• Cleaning work and assistance in building maintenance; care and supervision of external users (travel school, adult education center, etc.)
• Assistance in the preparation and execution of events including presence service
• Holiday/stand-in duties in building services by arrangement
• Since we rent out the rooms in the evening and also use them for our own events, your working hours during the school term are Monday to Friday from 3:45 p.m. to approximately 8:30 p.m. During school holidays, you assist during the day with larger maintenance tasks (e.g., deep cleaning) or take over stand-in duties after prior arrangement.

• a completed vocational training
• craftsmanship skills and technical flair
• service-oriented, responsible, reliable, and independent working style
• enjoyment in dealing with external tenants, young people, teachers, and other school members
• time flexibility, teamwork skills, and good physical resilience
• good knowledge of German
• basic PC skills are an advantage
