ROBOT TEST OPERATOR
Job DescriptionAs a robot tester, you play a crucial role in validating and optimising various robotic systems before they are deployed in practical use. This is a hands-on role where you operate our robots over extended periods and subject them to rigorous test cycles to collect valuable performance data and identify potential sources of error. You significantly contribute to ensuring that each device meets the highest standards of reliability and functionality.
- Operating robotic systems during extended test series and recording data on performance, durability, and behaviour under different conditions.
- Identifying and documenting anomalies, faults, and potential causes of failure during test runs.
- Supporting End-of-Line (EOL) tests to validate full system functionality before deployment.
- Creating detailed test reports and recording observations to support technical analyses and continuous improvements.
- Clearly communicating results to the engineering team to assist in prioritising fault corrections and optimisations.
- Safe handling and positioning of robot components weighing up to 15 kg during test setup.
- Ability to remain focused and attentive during long work sessions – the quality of data depends on this.
- Discipline to strictly follow established test plans and diligently complete documentation.
- Basic English skills to understand instructions and clearly note observations.
- Confident handling of a joystick or game controller.
- Experience with remote-controlled vehicles, drones, or similar is an advantage.
- Professional experience in roles requiring sustained attention (monitoring, inspection, machine operation, etc.).
- Genuine interest in robotics and following the journey of products from prototype to deployment.
