About the job

WD comtec AG implements and maintains modern telecommunications and fibre optic infrastructures. To strengthen our FTTH team, we are looking for a committed and independent individual to start immediately or by arrangement.  

Your tasks

• Carrying out new construction, maintenance, and repair work on fibre optic infrastructures in the FTTH/B/C area
• Splicing, measuring, and testing work in fibre networks
• Assembly and commissioning of components such as joints, BEP, OTO sockets, and POP systems
• Installation and adjustment work in buildings and network infrastructures
• Supporting the workgroup with technical questions and daily coordination
• Ensuring quality, safety, and complete documentation

What you bring

• Technical basic training in electrical engineering, network electrics, telematics, or comparable
• Experience in fibre optic/FTTH network construction
• Independent, reliable, and quality-conscious working style
• Good German language skills
• Driving licence category B
• Willingness for on-call duty
