Tasks
- You have the main responsibility for the entire data center, for the server infrastructure (hardware and virtual), storage, virtual desktops, and mail servers
- Responsible for creating, updating, configuring, and backing up servers and data centers
- You answer, solve, or support IT support questions and handle system engineering tickets
- You document changes, malfunctions, and instructions and develop technical solutions
- You support the telematics and workplace team as needed
- You develop and maintain the hardware and software concept of the City of Zug
Expectations
- Technical vocational training and/or professional experience in system engineering
- Further training in the system engineering field
- ICT generalist: good knowledge in all areas of ICT
- Knowledge regarding data protection and data security
- Analytical, conceptual, and process-oriented thinking
