Tasks

You have the main responsibility for the entire data center, for the server infrastructure (hardware and virtual), storage, virtual desktops, and mail servers
Responsible for creating, updating, configuring, and backing up servers and data centers
You answer, solve, or support IT support questions and handle system engineering tickets
You document changes, malfunctions, and instructions and develop technical solutions
You support the telematics and workplace team as needed
You develop and maintain the hardware and software concept of the City of Zug

Expectations

Technical vocational training and/or professional experience in system engineering
Further training in the system engineering field
ICT generalist: good knowledge in all areas of ICT
Knowledge regarding data protection and data security
Analytical, conceptual, and process-oriented thinking
