Responsibilities

• You lead the department professionally, organisationally and personally and manage the subordinate property managers.
• You control and coordinate the assignments as well as the financial resources and set priorities in maintenance management.
• You develop and implement strategies and concepts for the real estate portfolio – focusing on value preservation, sustainability and economic efficiency.
• You manage the entrusted sub-portfolios including multi-year planning, budgeting, forecasting and controlling.
• You ensure the quality of relevant real estate data and processes and represent the department as needed in commissions, delegations and the city council.

Profile

• Advanced education and training in real estate, architecture or engineering, complemented by solid business management knowledge and a good understanding of complex relationships in real estate management
• Several years of professional and leadership experience as well as an appreciative, binding leadership style at eye level
• Strategic, conceptual and solution-oriented thinking with the ability to develop viable solutions for demanding issues
• Convincing and target-group appropriate communication as well as the ability to reconcile different interests
