Automation Technicians in Aircraft Maintenance are sought-after specialists in various fields of activity.
The scope of work includes the inspection, maintenance, and repair of aircraft and
aircraft systems.
You will collaborate with other professionals on the aircraft and in the workshops.
- 1st and 2nd year in the exempt training workshop of SWISS TechOps: You will acquire a broad
foundation of knowledge and skills as an Automation Technician. The focus is on work techniques
such as mechanical manufacturing, wiring of electrical and electropneumatic
controls, as well as their programming and commissioning.
- 3rd and 4th year: Specialized training in the field of aircraft maintenance at SWISS at
Zurich Airport
- 1 to 2 days per week: Theoretical training at the vocational school
- SWISS supports attendance at the vocational school (vocational maturity)
- You have the opportunity to obtain the Aircraft Mechanic License EASA Cat. A during the training
