Apprenticeship 2026 as a Draftsperson EFZ Architecture, Basel

What to expect:

After a comprehensive introduction at Burckhardt, you will gradually work your way into the profession. Soon you will be reviewing initial design ideas from our architects and drawing plans on the computer using CAD programs. You will assist with inventory assessments and engage with different residential and work needs. Together in a team, you will develop solutions for technical details and discuss them in exchange with others. During site visits, you can apply and deepen your learned knowledge.

What you bring:

Completed secondary school level E / P or district school.
A good spatial imagination is important for the profession.
You are interested in working on the computer and occasional visits to construction sites.
Freehand drawing and sketching should bring you joy.
With patience and perseverance, you learn to work in a structured and independent manner.

You are not alone – you will receive advice and support at any time from your fellow learners in the first, second, third, and fourth years of apprenticeship.
If you are interested and perform well academically, we welcome it if you wish to complete the vocational maturity alongside your apprenticeship.
After four exciting years of apprenticeship, you will be ready to successfully master your final exams.
