About the job
For our Vice-Rectorate Teaching, we are looking for a Programme Director BSc & MSc in Applied Psychology 80% starting 1 February 2027 or by arrangement.
You are responsible for the following main tasks:
- Operational responsibility and academic leadership of the BSc/MSc programmes in Applied Psychology and the assigned modules/courses
- Ensuring the quality of study modules and compliance with regulations/processes as well as the didactic framework of the university of applied sciences
- Individual examination and advising of students on study phase-related issues (admission, dispensation, selection of specialisation/courses, etc.)
- Marketing of the educational offer, including conducting information events and advising prospective students
- Conceptual further development of the assigned educational offer, conducting module reviews including teaching-learning plans (TLPs); selection and management of lecturers, as well as support in developing new course offerings
- Collaboration with study administration and advising and participation in committees (e.g. grading committee) and projects
- Representation of the programmes internally and externally as well as maintenance and expansion of relationships with students, industry representatives and other relevant stakeholders
You bring with you:
- A university degree (MSc) in Psychology is required, a doctorate is an advantage
- Professional experience in market-oriented functions as well as proven success in the professional environment of the programmes to be supervised (Applied Psychology/Business Psychology)
- Experience in project management and affinity for customer acquisition and marketing
- An independent, precise and efficient working style
- Enjoyment of conceptual work and its operational implementation
- Confident, target group-appropriate appearance, with customer orientation, resilience and strong communication skills
- Very good German and good English skills in spoken and written form; French skills are an advantage
- Confident use of MS Office tools and ideally experience with school administration software (e.g. CampusNet), learning apps (e.g. Brian) and LMS platforms (e.g. OpenOlat)
