Production and Assembly Manager in Steel Construction (M/F)

Desired profile:

• Technical training in steel construction, mechanical engineering or civil engineering (CFC with diploma/master, HES engineer or equivalent)
• Several years of proven experience in a production manager or site manager position in steel construction
• Strong team management and leadership skills
• Good command of reading technical plans and steel construction standards (SIA, welding standards, etc.)
• Organisational skills, planning ability and capacity to manage several projects simultaneously
• Rigor, analytical mind and ability to solve technical problems on site
• Good communication skills for interfacing between teams, clients and the design office
• Category B driving licence required
• Fluent French; knowledge of German or English is an asset depending on the projects

• Plan and supervise the entire production process, from workshop fabrication to on-site assembly
• Organise and coordinate production and assembly teams, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met
• Ensure technical follow-up of projects (plan reading, quality control, compliance with steel construction standards)
• Manage material supply and optimal use of resources (machines, personnel, subcontractors)
• Ensure strict application of safety standards on production and assembly sites
• Act as interface between the design office, clients and operational teams
• Control the conformity of delivered works and manage any non-conformities
• Optimise production processes to improve productivity and quality
