About Geo-Energie Suisse AG: Geo-Energie Suisse AG is the Swiss centre of expertise for deep geothermal energy. As a company of several large Swiss energy supply companies, it develops pilot projects to demonstrate the technical feasibility and long-term economic viability of deep geothermal energy for electricity and heat production. The Haute-Sorne (JU) project is currently the most advanced. Positive results from the exploration phase strengthen the prospects for continuing the project and for further geothermal initiatives in Switzerland. The focus is on harnessing the heat stored several thousand metres underground. Through deep drilling and a geothermal reservoir, energy in the subsurface is to be made usable – as a domestic, climate-friendly, and around-the-clock available complement to other renewable energies.

Your main tasks:

• Financial management of three companies within the Geo-Energie Group (Switzerland, Germany).
• Financial leadership: Responsibility for the entire finance and accounting including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger and asset accounting.
• Project & investment controlling: Monitoring the use of funds and consistent cost tracking of projects. Active support in funding and financing matters.
• Controlling & taxes: Support in preparing and monitoring budgets/forecasts as well as liquidity planning. Preparation of tax returns and VAT statements (Switzerland/Germany).
• Closings & reporting: Responsibility for monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements (according to OR, HGB and SWISS GAAP FER) in cooperation with the CFO.
• Compliance & risk management: Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, contact person for trustees, auditors and banks.
• Process optimisation: Further development of finance areas and processes in cooperation with the CFO.
• Central services: Management of administrative areas such as HR (including coordination of the external payroll partner) as well as IT infrastructure in collaboration with an external service provider.
• Support for the introduction of SAP Business byDesign (Go Live 01.01.2027).

Your profile:

• Higher business education (university/FH) with a focus on finance or diploma as an expert in accounting and controlling.
• Several years of professional and leadership experience in a comparable SME with proven practice in project management.
• In-depth, practical knowledge of all three standards (OR, Swiss GAAP FER, HGB) as well as Swiss labour, social security and ideally subsidy/funding law.
• Implementation-strong all-rounder with high self-motivation, analytical thinking, strong social skills and a structured, solution-oriented working style.
• Fluent in German and English, basic knowledge of French desirable.
• Practical experience in project or sub-project management in the evaluation, migration or introduction of an ERP system.
• Basic interest in technology and enjoyment in understanding financial issues in the context of such projects.
