What you can achieve:
Responsibility for defined strategic procurement activities in the area of Indirect Procurement
Development and implementation of category strategies for categories of indirect procurement scopes – including CAPEX, packaging, technical gases, ITC, professional services/consulting, marketing & communication, as well as HR services
Strategic supplier management (identification, evaluation, qualification, development, regular performance reviews, volume bundling, risk and performance management)
Ensuring an efficient and compliant procurement process (procurement market analyses, tenders, benchmarking, negotiations, drafting and conclusion of supplier contracts, realization of cost and process optimizations)
Advising and challenging internal stakeholders (including production, engineering, quality, IT, HR, marketing) on procurement issues and in shaping requirements
Leading and participating in cross-BU projects – for example in logistics or facility projects – in close cooperation with the responsible business unit
Implementation of best practices and optimization projects (e.g., framework agreements, standardization, eProcurement/catalog solutions) for continuous improvement of costs, quality, delivery capability, and compliance
What you bring with you:
Completed business studies or an equivalent education/training
Experience in the procurement of indirect goods and services
Fluent German and English skills
Good negotiation skills and analytical thinking
Independence, team orientation, reliability, strong communication skills
ERP knowledge (D365, SAP)
