The Diakonie Bethanien Foundation, headquartered in Zurich-Altstetten, employs around 400 staff. The foundation includes two retirement and nursing homes, five day care centres, two parent-child institutions, the social therapeutic residential institution TheWo Bethanien, as well as the Placid Hotel Zurich with the Buckhuser neighbourhood restaurant.
