The Kongresshaus Zürich is located in the vibrant centre of Zurich, the economic metropolis of Switzerland. The Zurich event and congress centre can accommodate up to 4,500 guests, making it the largest venue of its kind in Zurich city centre. Here, significant architecture, modern infrastructure and excellent service come together. Kongresshaus Zürich AG (Zurich Convention Center Ltd.) operates and markets the Kongresshaus Zürich as well as the LUX Restaurant & Bar and offers upscale gastronomy throughout the entire building complex, including the Tonhalle Zürich. Founded in 1985, the company sets new standards in sustainability and quality management in the event industry.

Our gastronomy team urgently needs support in our kitchen, starting immediately or by arrangement. In this varied position, you will be jointly responsible for various operational tasks in the kitchen area.

Your new role

• Responsible for the proper cleaning, care and storage of porcelain, glass, cutlery and kitchenware
• Responsible for the correct operation and maintenance of the provided machines and equipment
• Assisting with simple production tasks in the kitchen
• Responsible for cleanliness in your own work area
• Supporting goods receipt and storage
• Responsible for proper waste disposal in compliance with internal guidelines and recycling standards

What you bring

• Several years of professional experience in a comparable position
• High service commitment, willingness to work and flexibility
• Excellent manners and strong team spirit
• Good knowledge of German is essential, additional languages are an advantage
