What to expect
- You plan and lead maintenance and renewal projects in the track area with a focus on civil and railway engineering across all SIA phases
- Depending on the project scope, you take on overall or partial project management and control all project phases from planning to commissioning
- You coordinate and lead internal and external specialist departments as well as project participants and ensure efficient collaboration
- You handle communication with the Federal Office of Transport (BAV), municipalities, cantons, affected third parties, and other stakeholders
- You ensure that costs, deadlines, quality, and safety requirements are met
- You take on safety management tasks according to RTE 20100
- You are responsible for procuring planning, service, and construction contracts
- You conduct tough negotiations, develop well-founded decision bases, and present them
What you bring
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (FH/ETH) in civil engineering or a related field such as transport systems, spatial planning, geomatics, or environmental engineering
- Enthusiasm for the development and maintenance of modern railway infrastructure
- Professional experience in railway, road, or civil engineering construction
- Experience in project management and ideally in leading complex infrastructure projects
- An independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
- Analytical thinking, initiative, persuasiveness, and strong communication skills
- Very good German language skills, both spoken and written
- Knowledge of SIA standards 103 and 118 as well as AB-EBV is an advantage
- Experience in public procurement (IVöB/BöB) and knowledge of MS Project are a plus
