About the job
For my client, a financial service provider in the areas of investment, retirement, mortgages, taxes and insurance, we are looking for a personality with seniority and experience in mandate payrolling. You will further develop the department and are also actively involved in operational business with enthusiasm. You maintain and advise national and international clients and represent a well-known employer in the Zurich area as;
Head Payroll Mandate Payrolling Abacus, 80-100%
Your Tasks
- Responsibility and operational involvement for clients in the payroll area
- Leadership and development of 2-3 employees
- Ensuring that all legally required notifications, registrations and deregistrations as well as change notifications for AHV/IV/EO, ALV, BVG, NBU, KTG and other carriers are submitted on time and correctly
- Proactive monitoring and implementation of all legal changes in social insurance, withholding tax etc.
- Advising clients on questions regarding withholding tax, permits, maternity compensation, family allowances etc. in DE & EN
- Expansion of services, processes and structures (creation and monitoring)
- Close cooperation with the factoring / billing team
Your Profile
- Experience in mandate payrolling, experience in international compensation (shares / stock options) or willingness to train / further educate in this area
- At least 5 years of experience in payroll, taxes, social insurance and labour law,
- Abacus knowledge, IT and system affinity, good knowledge of Excel
- The willingness and understanding to expand processes and services and the ability to communicate project steps and budget to management
- Self-responsibility, independent working and strong self-organisation skills
- Native German speaker, English level C1
