What awaits you.
We ensure that railway infrastructures remain safe and available: we monitor the condition of tracks, traction current, structures and promptly initiate necessary measures to guarantee their safety and availability. We represent the owner's interests during third-party works on and near the tracks, and ensure site safety. After projects, we take over flawless installations, have defects corrected, and provide data management teams with information to improve quality.
What you can move.
- On a daily basis, you ensure the availability, safety and regulatory compliance of water drainage installations (track drainages, emergency valves, flow limiters, retentions, outlets), as well as connection track structures, and intervene when necessary.
- You prepare, commission and supervise external service providers as well as internal teams for maintenance and repair works on water drainage installations, ensuring compliance with costs, deadlines and quality. You continue to enrich the inventory in the dedicated tool.
- As project manager, you control the safety of internal constructions and third-party structures affecting the track or water drainage and verify the absence of defects before their acceptance.
- You plan the monitoring of connection tracks, carry out condition assessments (track, drainage, civil engineering structures) and communicate to the owner the necessary maintenance and investment measures based on inspection data.
- You manage the maintenance budget and service invoicing, notify major projects to Project Management and contribute to continuous process improvement.
What you bring.
- Autonomous, responsible and with a strong capacity to learn, you make quick decisions and act effectively on site.
- You have excellent interpersonal skills and initiative, and do not hesitate to contact and coordinate external stakeholders.
- Several years of experience in operation, maintenance or management of railway infrastructures, water drainage systems or civil engineering structures is required; experience in coordinating service providers and project management is an asset.
- You have a higher technical education (University of Applied Sciences, ES, university) or hold a vocational training certificate (CFC) accompanied by several years of experience in the railway sector.
- You master French (minimum level C1). A good knowledge of German and/or Italian would be a significant asset to participate in various national working groups.
- You are available to travel within the western region.
